Kevin Kern (actor)

Kevin Michael Kern is a Broadway actor, born circa 1974 to Nancy and Michael Kern of Cincinnati. His father was a senior vice president and a stockbroker in the Cincinnati office of Paine Webber, the securities brokerage company.[1]

Credits

His Broadway credits include Fiyero in Wicked as well as roles in The Wedding Singer and Les Miserables.[2][3] (In Les Mis, he played numerous roles, including Marius, Jean Prouvaire, Joly and Marius (understudy) with the "approximate dates: 1997 to 1999; 2001 to 2003 (not necessarily continuously)."[4] As of 2015, he is performing in Finding Neverland the Musical.[5]

Education

He is a cum laude graduate of New York University.[6] He has a B.M. in Vocal Performance and a "full scholarship and one year study - M.A. in Music Vocal Performance."[7] Prior to NYU, he was a 1992 graduate of St. Xavier High School (Cincinnati).[8]

Personal life

He married Megan Lawrence in June 1999.[9] They have three children.[10]
