Kendall K Vertes, (born December 8,2002) also known as Kendall K, is an American competitive dancer, singer, television personality, and model. She is best known for starring on the Lifetime reality series Dance Moms with her mother, Jill Vertes.

Early life

Kendall Vertes was born on December 9, 2002. Before her start on Dance Moms, she took an interest in dancing at Studio 19 Dance Complex in Pennsylvania and she really enjoyed it. Kendall has been dancing since the age of 18 months old because that's how much she wants to do dancing and wants to be in contests to see what place she would come in.[1]

Career

Vertes and her mother, Jill, have been cast members on Dance Moms since its second season. From 2012 on, Vertes has studied dance under Abby Lee Miller as part of the Abby Lee Dance Company elite junior competition team.[2] Vertes and her mother both moved from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles for the show's sixth season.[3]

Kendall began to pursue a singing career in early 2015.[4] She soon announced her debut single, "Wear 'Em Out".[5] The song was released on April 21, 2015.[6] The music video for "Wear 'Em Out" was premiered during an episode of Dance Moms on June 9, 2015.[7]

Vertes has appeared in numerous music videos, with the majority of the music being performed by her Dance Moms co-stars/teammates. She had a supporting role in her then-teammate, Brooke Hyland's music video for "Summer Love Song," which was released in September 2012.[8] In April 2014, Vertes was also featured in the music video for "It's A Girl Party," performed by her then-teammate, Mackenzie Ziegler (Mack Z).[9] On May 17, 2016, Vertes' current Dance Moms co-star and teammate, JoJo Siwa, released her debut single's music video, "Boomerang," in which Vertes is featured.[10]
