Ken Welch

Kenneth T. Welch is an American politician from the state of Florida. A member of the Democratic Party, Welch serves on the county commission of Pinellas County, Florida.

Welch was elected to the Pinellas County Commission in 2000. He works as an assistant vice president at St. Petersburg College. Welch is a potential candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Florida's 13th congressional district, following Bill Young's retirement, in the 2014 elections.[1]

His father, David, is a former member of the St. Petersburg, Florida City Council. David founded an accounting company, where Ken worked.[2][3]
