Ken Brierley

Ken Brierley (3 April 1926 in Ashton under-Lyne, England - February 2004) was an English footballer who played as a midfielder for Liverpool F.C. in The Football League. Brierley started his career at Oldham Athletic F.C. where he made 50 league appearances before he signed for Liverpool. He signed for Liverpool towards the end of the 1947–48 season and made 10 appearances. Brierley was unable to establish him in the starting lineup during his time at the club and moved back to Oldham in 1953.[1][2]
