Keli Price (born June 30, 1990) is an American actor and musician. Price is best known for his role as Chris Abeley in the comedic drama film The Clique.

Price is currently a series regular on the DreamWorks AwesomenessTV musical drama titled Side Effects.

Biography

Personal life

Keli Price was born in Manhattan, New York.

He attended the Long Island High School for the Arts, where he was involved in both the acting and music programs.[1]

Career

At the age of four, Price entered the modeling industry, and has since worked for companies which include Polo Ralph Lauren, Gap, Sean John, H&M, Nike, Cole Haan, Tommy Hilfiger, and Macy's. Price also appeared on the cover of the New York Times Magazine and with Nelly on a nationwide campaign for Reebok.[2]

In 2008, he starred in the independent movie Bug Boy, in which he played Danny, an aspiring jockey who has to cope with his mother's alcohol addiction while caring for his little brother. The film was directed by the well-known photographer, Ken Regan, and features a soundtrack with personal courtesies of Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones.[2] Price also starred in the Nickelodeon mockumentary TV series The Naked Brothers Band, created by Polly Draper. He plays Bobby Love, a deceitful British rocker who wins the heart of Nat's girlfriend, Rosalina (Allie DiMeco). "He's a faux British rocker who's really a surfer dude from San Diego", stated Price.[2][3]

In late 2008, Price became recognized in the Warner Bros. film The Clique, directed by Michael Lembeck. He starred as the heartthrob, Chris Abeley, a handsome high school student whom Massie Block and her clique have a crush on. The film is based on the bestselling novel of the same name, by Lisi Harrison. In July 2011, Price filmed another feature film called One Fall, which was released to theaters in October 2012.[4]

In June 2010, Price was named BMI Young Songwriter of the Year, and was subsequently inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He also received the Abe Olman Publisher's Award for Excellence in Songwriting.

Price's new TV series from Awesomeness TV/DreamWorks is set to come out in 2014. The show is executive produced by Brian Robbins & Joe Davola. Price plays the role of "Zak" on the show.

Price was recently cast in the new TBS pilot Your Family or Mine as "Colin".

His new movie 200 Hours from the creator of Final Destination, is set to be released in 2017.

Move My Way

Recorded at Electric Lady Studios, where legends such as Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, and Peter Frampton have made history, Price's first album, entitled Move My Way, was released in early December 2009.[5] The album featured co-writes with various artists including Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra. In addition, Price has collaborated with Robbie Nevil, best known for his hit single "C'est La Vie" and the soundtrack for the High School Musical series.[4]
