Kayani clan
The Kayani (Persian: کیانی ) (and numerous variants, to include 'Kiani', 'Keanee', 'Keyani', 'Kaianee', 'Kayani') .
Kayanis are found predominantly in the Potohar region of Pakistan's Punjab region, Azad Kashmir, in the Hazara region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan]].
Various subgroups that identify themselves as Kayanis include the Gakhar clan, the Tarkhani and Shahrais clans of Gilgit, and the Kayani Mughals of northern Pakistan.
The most famous individual with this name is Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, former chief of staff of the Pakistani Army.
