Kalluri Sushila (1 July 1960 – 4 July 2007) was an Indian business tycoon who founded Sushila group of enterprises. She was the business leader for two decades in Port Blair city of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.[1]

Biography

Sushila was born on 1 July 1960 at Vakamarpally near Pamuru, Prakasam district (now in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India) to Konda Reddy and Ratna in a Reddy family of modest means.

Sushila started off as a small business in 1979 with her friend. After making modest profits, she moved into food and opened her mill near Port Blair. Sushila founded Sushila group of enterprises in 1990's. Expansions and success followed.

In 2007, after a heart attack, she left her business empire to her son Suresh Reddy.

Personal life

Kalluri Sushila is married to Kalluri Thirupathi. They have one son and one daughter: Suresh Reddy and Madhavi Kumari.
