Early years and breakthrough

Tshimanga first joined Milton Keynes Dons at U10 level.[5] After scoring 27 youth team goals, Tshimanga was rewarded with a squad number early in the 2014–15 season despite only recently turning 18.[6] He made his first team debut on 8 November, coming on as a late substitute for Benik Afobe in a 4–3 FA Cup First round victory over Port Vale at Vale Park.[7] Tshimanga signed his first professional contract with the club on 3 January 2015.[8] On 30 January 2015, Tshimanga joined Aldershot Town of the Conference on loan having scored 42 goals in 25 games for MK Dons U18s.[9]

2015–16

Tshimanga spent the entire 2015–16 season on loan at several clubs. On 12 August 2015, he joined National League North side Corby Town, initially on a one-month loan which was later extended. During his time with Corby Town he scored 5 goals in 10 league appearances. On 18 August 2015, Tshimanga scored an eight-minute hat-trick for the club in a 3-3 draw away to Hednesford Town.[10]

Following his departure from Corby, Tshimanga had short spells with National League North side Nuneaton Town and Southern Premier side Chesham United.

On 2 May 2016, Tshimanga joined Icelandic Úrvalsdeild side Throttur Reykjavik on a short-term loan deal until 18 July 2016.[11] Tshimanga was limited to substitute appearances, playing his part in a total of 7 games for the club, and scoring in a 4-0 Icelandic cup victory over Grotta FC.

2016–17

On 20 August 2016, after returning to his parent club, Tshimanga made his first team league debut, coming on as an 87th minute substitute for Nicky Maynard in a 0–1 away win to Rochdale[12] On 23 August 2016, Tshimanga scored his first goal for the senior team, scoring an equalizing goal during extra time in a 2–2 EFL Cup second round defeat away to Reading.[13]

Style of play

Speaking in November 2014, Milton Keynes Dons manager Karl Robinson stated that he was "quick, powerful, he wants to run at people and he's a constant threat."[14]
