KLUZ-TV is a television station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a Univision affiliate, owned by Entravision Communications Corporation. KLUZ began operation in September 1987 and has been a Univision affiliate since then. In 2007 it added LATV as a digital subchannel on 41.2.

KLUZ operates on digital channel 42 and is displayed as channel 41.

Noticias Univision Nuevo México: Weekdays, 5 p.m. & 10 p.m.

In 1992, had a news program called 5 en . (cinco en punto) 5 o clock (five o clock). But in 1993 the KLUZ launched Albuquerque, New Mexico's first Spanish-language newscast Noticias 41 was launched it was anchored by New Mexico native Bonita Ulibarri along with weather Sergio Schwartz and sports was handled by Iliana Carrillo the newscast aired Monday-Friday at 10pm. But in 1994 the station launched a 5pm newscast replacing 5 en punto it was anchored by Ulibarri weather continued to be anchored by Scwartz, and a new sports anchor was added Donaldo Zepeda became news sports anchor, but at 10pm the news team changed the weather anchor Scwartz and sports anchor Zepeda stayed the same, but reporter Susana Olivares did the 10pm show. On January 30, 1994 the station hired Roberto Repreza to anchor both the 5pm and 10pm newscast, also Bonita Ulibarri anchor for just doing 5pm newscast she returned to doing the 10pm anchor duties. In 1996 the station anchor Roberto Repreza left to go to then sister-station KXLN-TV (KLUZ was sold to Entravision in 1996.). And Ulibarri returned to being solo lead anchor.

Analog-to-digital conversion

KLUZ-TV shut down its analog signal, over UHF channel 41, on June 12, 2009, the official date in which full-power television stations in the United States transitioned from analog to digital broadcasts under federal mandate. The station's digital signal remained on its pre-transition UHF channel 42.^[2] Through the use of PSIP, digital television receivers display the station's virtual channel as its former UHF analog channel 41.
