Stefen Jones[1](/ˈstɛfɛn ˈdʒɒnɛs/STEH-fehn jonehs; born September 3, 1983),[2] better known by his stage name KJIVA (Marathi: केजिवा) or KJIVA the marathi rapper[3] (Marathi: केजिवा द मराठी रॅपर) is a Marathi singer–songwriter, rapper, record producer, arranger and composer.[4][5][6][7][8] He is a first marathi rapper who introduced Gangsta rap in Marathi from his official debut single Ganjah.[9][10][11][12] He is also a founder of United Naxal Records,[13] this music record label founded on July 22, 2009 to promote indie musician around world.[14]

Jones began his career as a music producer with release his first instrumental album Me N Mah Beat.[15][16] In 2016 he comes with club hit track booty which were produced by hip hop producer DJ Mustard.[17] Some collection of Poetry written between 2007 to 2013 by him which were published in his book Murder: The Gangster Rhymes regarded as notable work in Jones writing career.[18]

Early life

Jones was born on September 3, 1983, in Maharashtra India and then raised in Richmond,VA. He attended Huntington High School, but soon dropped out to embark his music career.[19][20]

Career

He started his career as music producer with release his first instrumental album Me N Mah Beat.[21][17] He is also introduced Gangsta Hip Hop in Marathi from his official debut single title Ganjah[22][23][24] Which is based on criminal background of his life. 2016 he gain popularity from club hit maker track Booty which is produced by DJ Mustard.[25][26][27] He also writes some of poetry between 2007 to 2013 which is consists in his book title Murder: The Gangster Rhymes that was published by United Naxal Publications. This book is based on his life when he was 16 to 19 years old, sharing his experience about his street life & his friends who turn to ruffian.[28][29][30][31][32]

United Naxal records

United Naxal Records is a multi-platform music company,[33] specializing in the development of recording artists, Songwriter and producers. Founded by KJIVA, United Naxal Records includes a full-service Record label, artist management, book publishing and music publishing company.[34] It assisting Artists & Musician to maximize their exposure and global availability, providing more opportunities for Artists & musicians to license & publish music and video content.[35][36] And to also, sell and promote their content in an increasingly diverse Internet landscape.[37][38] In 2016 United Naxal Records have been signed exclusively by KVZ for partnership in worldwide Digital distribution.[39][40][41] On January 12, 2016 KJIVA released single track Booty with hip hop producer DJ Mustard under label of United Naxal Records.[42][43][44][45][46][47]
