KGAM was a commercial radio station in Palm Springs, California, broadcasting on 1450 AM. The frequency is now used for KPTR.

KGAM aired talk programming. KGAM, along with KDES-FM, KWXY, and KPSI AM and FM, is licensed to R & R Radio Corporation which is owned by the Rozene R. Supple Trust.[1]

KGAM aired a wide range of talk shows, from Michael Savage and Dennis Miller to Dave Ramsey. The station also broadcast the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Oakland Raiders games. They also carried games of the Palm Springs Chill of the Arizona Winter League.

The transmitter and broadcast tower are located between Palm Springs and Cathedral City on Dinah Shore Drive. According to the Antenna Structure Registration database, the tower is 52 m (171 ft) tall.[2]
