K. Rekha is a Malayalam short story writer. She is a recipient of the I.C. Chacko Award instituted by the Kerala Sahitya Akademi for Arudeyo Oru Sakhavu.[1] She works in Malayala Manorama Daily. She is a journalist and a writer. She started her writing in Mathrubhumi Balapamkthi. She got the state bank of travancore's best human interest story award for her feature published in Malayala Manorama. She got Kerala Social Service Society award for best woman journalist.
