Junior 4

A Junior 4 or JR4 is a one-bedroom apartment with a separate dining room or a small bedroom or office. The "4" comes from the number of rooms in the apartment, specifically the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and dining area/small bedroom/office. The term is usually used in the New York City rental market. The use of the term "Junior 4" may be imprecise and confusing to some prospective buyers who may be better equipped with a to-scale floor plan for reference.^[1]
