The Juan de Fuca Plate was an annual cup contested between the Vancouver Whitecaps U-23 team and the Victoria Highlanders of the USL Premier Development League.[1] It was contested annually between the 2012 USL PDL season and the 2014 USL PDL Season. In the inaugural season the now defunct Fraser Valley Mariners also competed, but the cup was contested between only the Vancouver and Victoria after that point. After the shuttering of the Whitecaps FC U-23 team in 2015 and the Victoria Highlanders moving to the Pacific Coast Soccer League for the 2015 season, the future of the competition is unknown.
