Joyce Kennedy (singer)

Joyce Kennedy, nicked "Baby Jean" (born 1948 in Anguilla, Mississippi) is an American singer raised in Chicago.[1]

Originally a member of a vocal duo with Glenn "Doc" Murdock, in 1970 she joined the funk rock band Mother's Finest with guitarist Gary "Moses Mo" Moore and bassist Jerry "Wyzard" Seay. Their music is a blend of funky rhythms, heavy rock guitars and expressive soul/R&B-style vocals.
