Joseph Gatt (born 3 December 1974) is an English actor.
Early life
Joseph Gatt [1] was born and raised in Ladbroke Grove, London to Maltese parents,
When Joseph was a teenager he found out he was color blind, preventing him from fulfilling his dream of joining the RAF and becoming a fighter pilot. The stress of this news was possibly the trigger for his Alopecia universalis. This rare medical condition caused all of Joseph’s hair to fall out at the age of 14.
Joseph began his professional training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. He then went to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with a bachelor's degree.[2]
Career
Actor
After graduating from drama school, Joseph’s first film role was in “Orpheus & Eurydice”, playing opposite Oliver Reed in one of his last movie roles. Joseph also performed in many musicals in London’s West End and in national tours.
Model
Gatt has sustained a successful career as a model in Europe and the United Kingdom working for Giorgio Armani, Vogue UK, British Telecom, Levi's, Northern Rock, Gucci, and Guess Jeans among others.[3]
