Jonathan Wilkinson is a successful business leader in Engineering and was an English footballer who played in The Football League for Bolton. He also played cricket at a high level in Doncaster.

Originally from the mining village, Rossington. Later a resident of the Wakefield area. His cricket career featured intelligent, beguiling off-spin bowling and excellent batting technique which made him hard to remove from the crease; he once batted for 55 overs to secure a draw whilst scoring just 15 not out on a damp pitch in Cleethorpes. It was later pointed out to him that such a scoring rate in a test match would have secured him a century just after lunch on the fourth day. However, he secured a draw for his team in a selfless, concentrated effort. First under 8 year old to run sub 4 minute mile.

Having attempted to perform stand-up comedy on a number of occasions, he finally decided that Business Leadership was more his thing.[1]
