Jonathan "Jon" Kintz-Birwood is an American musician, notable for being the bassist and also a backing vocalist of a metal band named Odd Project, Kintz used to be guitarist and vocalist of Metalcore band Of Mice & Men, and is now focusing on his metalcore solo project, Me Versus the Moon.

Musical career

Odd Project (2006–2007)

Kintz was the bassist and backing vocalist of metal band Odd Project from 2006 to 2007, but was never featured on any albums. According to Odd Project official website, he was part of the final line up.[1]

My My Misfire (2008)

In 2008, Kintz played guitar for Minnesota-based band, My My Misfire. He left for unknown reasons after a few months with the band. He appeared in the band's first music video, "Mississippi Shallow", playing guitar, in fall of 2008.[2]

Of Mice and Men (early 2009)

Kintz was also the guitarist and backing vocalist of metalcore band Of Mice & Men. Kintz was not in the band for very long, and was soon replaced by Shayley Bourget. When Bourget was asked about what happened to Kintz, he answered jokingly with "Jon didn't cut it", and no other word has been said on his departure.[3]

Me Versus the Moon (later 2009–present)

Kintz has since started a metalcore solo project, called Me Versus the Moon. He has posted one song to his MySpace, entitled "Our Bloodbath Ballet".
