Jon Dunbar

Jon Dunbar (born 4 April 1980 in Wegberg, Germany) is a rugby union footballer for Leeds Tykes. His usual position is at flanker. He was educated at Abingdon School and started his career playing for Grove RFC in the junior leagues in Oxfordshire. He moved to play professionally for Newcastle Falcons RFC and then Leeds Carnegie, from where he won two caps for Scotland in the 2005 Six Nations Championship, both as a replacement.[1] After his spell at Leeds Carnegie he moved to Gran Parma in Italy for the 2009/10 season. During his time at Leeds he helped them win the 2004–05 Powergen Cup, for the final of which he was a replacement.[2] He had also won it the year before whilst a Newcastle player, that time starting the final.[3]
