John Vincent Palatine

John Vincent Palatine is the English pen name of Bavarian historian Christian Friedrich Finze, born 1958 at Schwandorf, Bavaria. He is an alumnus of the well-known Landschulheim Marquartstein, Bavaria. His work at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (Munich) in the 1980s is currently out of print. In 2016 he published under his English pen name Volume I of a proposed three-part series on Nazi Germany. Volume I is titled "The Little Drummer Boy" and is published by Amadé Publishers, Munich. ISBN 978-3-00-050788-5

"The Little Drummer Boy" concentrates on Adolf Hitler's youth, the First World War and the subsequent rise of the Nazi Party until the Beer Hall Coup of 1923. Volumes II and III will center on the years 1924 to 1933 respectively the years 1933 to 1939.

He also operates a blog discussing historical themes from the 19th and 20th Century, and is currently writing an introduction to chemistry for beginners. The script will be published in German and English versions from 2017 onwards.

Christian Friedrich Finze is married and lives near Munich, Bavaria.
