John Speare Tosswill (6 August 1890 – 28 September 1915), sometimes known as Jack Tosswill, was an English professional football inside right who played in the Football League for Liverpool.[1]
Personal life
Tosswill was partially deaf.[3] He served as a corporal in the Royal Engineers during the First World War, but before he could serve overseas, he died after an operation following an illness.[2][3][4]
