John Schriffen

John Schriffen is an ABC News correspondent in New York City. Schriffen previously interned for ABC’s sister network ESPN.

Most recently, John spent several years at NBC4 in Washington where he covered the White House, Capitol Hill, and contributed to special coverage as Hurricane Irene barreled up the East Coast in 2011.

John began his career as a sports anchor and reporter for News 12 in the Bronx. Though he graduated from Dartmouth College; he also attended Howard University where he worked at The Hilltop student newspaper
