John Parsons (missionary)

John Parsons (died 1869 in Monghyr) was an English Baptist missionary in India and reviser of Carey's Hindustani Bible.[1] He came to India, with his wife, married 1840, to join his brother George. George died shortly thereafter and John Parson's wife returned, permanently, to England in 1842.
