Jim Lord

James Frank "Jim" Lord (November 26, 1948 – June 6, 2008) was a Minnesota lawyer and politician in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.[1]

A native of Chanhassen, Minnesota, he was the son of United States District Court Judge Miles Lord and brother of Priscilla Lord Faris. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law. He was elected to the Minnesota State Senate in 1972 at the age of 23. He served as Minnesota State Treasurer from 1975 to 1983.[2][3]
