James Alfred "Jim" Chapman is an English YouTube vlogger, blogger and model, who is best known for his pop culture, vlogging and men's fashion YouTube channel. He occasionally makes Q and A's and Favourite videos, and also daily vlogs on his second channel, EveryDayJim.

Career

Chapman graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Psychology.[2][3]

Chapman created his first "j1mmyb0bba" YouTube channel (now known as simply "Jim Chapman") in 2010 where he frequently features his dog, his wife, drawing, baking and other youtubers amongst other things. On Chapman's second channel he documents what he does daily.[3] He is a member of the Style Haul network and is represented by Dominic Smales at Gleam Futures.[1][4][5] Chapman also appears alongside many other YouTubers on the channel DailyMix, which is managed by Gleam; starring in a show called Pimp my Boyfriend.[2][6][7] He was part of the 'YouTube Boyband' that raised money for Comic Relief and was featured in The Guardian.[8][9] He is also a co-host on the ITV comedy panel show Viral Tap.[10][11]

In 2013, Jim Chapman was named as one of the National Citizen Service's ambassadors, helping to promote the newly launched youth service.[12][13] Chapman is influential through social media. As of 1 July 2016 Chapman has over 2.5 million subscribers to his main YouTube channel and over 159 million video views. He has over 1 million subscribers to his second YouTube channel. [1][14][15] He has over 1.8 million followers on Twitter and 2.1 million on Instagram.[1][5] Chapman has done a number of collaborations on his channel with other YouTubers, including: Marcus Butler, Alfie Deyes, Louise Pentland, Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley, Zoe Sugg, Joe Sugg, Louis Cole, Caspar Lee and many others.

Personal life

Chapman grew up in Wilby, outside Attleborough, and attended Old Buckenham High School.[2] He is the brother of make-up artists Samantha Chapman and Nic Chapman of the PixiWoo YouTube channel.[3][14] He also has a twin brother, John who co-runs the Lean Machines YouTube channel.[10] Chapman has been in a relationship with fellow YouTuber and vlogger Tanya Burr since 2007; they got engaged in 2012, and are currently living in Bramerton and London.[1][16] They have recently adopted a puppy named Martha, who is a miniature Dachshund. The couple married on 3 September 2015, announcing through their social media accounts on 6 September.[17]

Chapman was named the 17th "Best Dressed Man in Britain" of 2015 by GQ magazine.[18]
