Jesinta Franklin (née Campbell)[3][4] (born 12 August 1991) is an Australian Model, TV Host and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Australia 2010 and represented Australia at Miss Universe 2010 and placed 2nd Runner-Up.

Early life

Jesinta Franklin grew up on the Gold Coast, Queensland and attended Aquinas College through her schooling years.[5]

Franklin was crowned as Miss Universe Australia 2010 on 17 June 2010 representing Queensland.

Miss Universe 2010

Franklin competed at the 2010 edition of the Miss Universe pageant on 23 August 2010 and finished as the 2nd Runner-Up behind Yendi Phillipps (Jamaica) and winner Ximena Navarrete (Mexico).[6] She was also designated Miss Congeniality at this pageant.[7]

The Morning Show

In September 2010, she became a guest reporter for entertainment and fashion subjects on Seven Network's The Morning Show.[8]

Celebrity Apprentice Australia

In October 2011, she appeared as a contestant on the Nine Network's The Celebrity Apprentice Australia as a member of Team Unity.[9]

Radio

Franklin appeared on the Hot 30 Countdown on 3 January 2012 and filled in for Maude Garrett with Matty Acton for one week. She came back as Matty Acton's co-host on 27 February 2012 on the Hot 30 Countdown.

Franklin (as Jesinta Campbell) published her first book, Live a Beautiful Life, in October 2016 [10]

Personal life

Jesinta Franklin is married to Australian rules football player Lance "Buddy" Franklin.[11] They married in November 2016 in a private ceremony with close friends and family.[12]
