Syrian Civil War

The Jarabulus Brigade (Saraya Jarabulus)[3] is a group that has been active during the Syrian Civil War.[4]

Saraya Jarabulus is a minor rebel group in Kobani fighting the IS. The rebel group evolved from rebel groups in the town of Jarabulus, which became an ISIS stronghold in June 2013. An offensive by rebels to retake control failed following a suicide bombing attack by the IS on 15 January 2014. According to a representative of the Northern Sun Battalion in Kobani, Saraya Jarabulus initially operated in the city but currently has lost its presence.
