Jani Master (Shaik Jani Basha) is an Indian dance choreographer who has choreographed Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam films, in a wide range of dancing styles, but he is particularly known for his Western and Folk style. He has received a Filmfare Award and other awards for choreography.

Master began his film work as a dancer in Telugu films and on the ETV show Dhee, before being given the chance to choreograph Drona (2009 film) , in 2009. Actor Ram Charan employed him as choreographer of the dances for Racha, which made his name in Telugu films. Ram Charan appointed him as choreographer in all of his films. He then worked for other stars such as: Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Pothineni, Ravi Teja. He has also sung a song dedicated to Ram Charan.

In 2014, Bollywood actor Salman Khan appointed Jani Master for Jai Ho as choreographer. He also choreographs award ceremonies.As of 2016, Jani Master is working on a number of films.[1][2]

Dance style

He is specifically known for his Western and Folk, but he can choreograph all styles of dance.

Inspiration

His inspiration in dance was Michael Jackson and Prabhu Deva snr, where as in movies he got inspired by Chiranjeevi and Hrithik Roshan
