James "Jaysen" Bryhan (born 13 February 1970) is a British television actor, best known for his role as Lance Cooper in the British film The Apostate: Call of the revenant.[1]

Career

James Bryhan began his career as a Actor and in 2012 playing the psychopathic killer, Pikie in South African Movie, To the end of the road was nominated for Best Film Actor by the BEFTA awards. [2] In 2014, Bryhan won the lead part of Lance Cooper in the British horror thriller, The Apostate: Call of the revenant''alongside British actress Terri Dwyer. [3] [4] In 2015, Bryhan portrayed the older Albert Einstein alongside Guy Henry detailing his life. [5] Bryhan has since been rumoured to play the role of Ramirez, made famous by Sean Connery in the upcoming reboot of Highlander, directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan [6]

Personal life

bryhan has an younger sister Paula, and a younger brother, Leon. His father Bryan died of stomach cancer in 2001. His Grandmother suffers with dementia and Bryhan is a strong advocate for the fight against dementia. In 2016, Bryhan went on a charity walk for the alzheimer's society, A world without dementia.[7]

Bryhan is a former fusilier and has extensive training in mixed martial arts. Bryhan married Bea Bryhan at City of Birmingham, on 18 September 2004.
