Jairek Robbins (born May 26, 1984) is an American performance coach and motivational speaker. [1][2] He is the son of American life coach, self-help author, and motivational speaker Tony Robbins. [3]

Early life and education

Robbins was born in Santa Monica, California to Tony Robbins and Liz Acosta. [4][5] He graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in psychology. [6] While studying at the USD, he took a semester abroad through the Semester at Sea program where he visited for a week at a time in Japan, China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Tanzania, South Africa, Brazil and Venezuela. Robbins noted that in an interview given to Forbes, this was inspiration for much of his work, volunteer efforts and focus on finding a way to make a positive difference in the world through philanthropy and volunteerism. Career

Robbins started his career in 2002 with Anthony Robbins Foundation and worked there for two years. While attending the University of San Diego he spent 3 months living in a rural farming village as a volunteer teaching organic farming in Uganda through the organization Students Partnership Worldwide (now Restless Development). [8] He was a board member for the non-profit organization "Just Like My Child" which also does education and health projects in Uganda. [9]

He later became a Results Coach at Robbins Research International. From 2006-2008 he served as a representative of RRI. Years later, he can now be found traveling around the world as an in-demand keynote speaker. [4] He founded Jairek Robbins Companies in 2010 and later started Rapid Results Retreat in 2011. [10]

Robbins is also a host to a weekly YouTube segment entitled JRCtv and a regular contributor to the Huffington Post blog. [11] He delivered a TEDx talk in 2013, titled "A Simple Formula To Inspire the World To Live Their Dreams" in New York City. [12]

In 2014 Robbins wrote a best-selling book titled, "LIVE IT!: Achieve Success By Living With Purpose". [13][14]

Robbins was a 2016 Keynote Speaker & Featured Panelists for the Harvard Leadership Conference. [15]

Awards and recognitions

In 2008 at the age of 23, Robbins received the Congressional Award Gold Medal from the United States Congress. [8]

Personal life

Robbins married Amanda Andrzejewski in 2014. [16] He supports a number of charities and nonprofit organisations including the Change Heroes, Habitat for Humanity and the Pencils of Promise Foundation.
