Jaime Olías (Torrelodones, Madrid, December 22, 1989) is a Spanish actor of cinema and television.

Career

He showed an early interest in the interpretation, taking part in diverse theatrical representations and also studying the career of Audiovisual Communication in the Complutense University of Madrid. He arrived to television with Ángel or demon (2010); a production of Plural Entertainment for Telecinco, where he starts with Aura Garrido, in the paper of "Damián", a demon who falls in love with an angel.[1]

Without having finished yet the shooting of Ángel or demon, he gave the jump to the cinema of the hand of Javier Ruiz Caldera in the film Ghost Graduation (2011). In this film, he plays the character of "Jorge", the ghost of a popular student and one of the main characters, with Aura Garrido (in their second appearance together since Angel o demon), Raúl Arévalo, Alexandra Jiménez and Andrea Duro, among others. He also is known for his performance as "Fernando", beside Maxi Iglesias and Juan Diego, in the television series Toledo, produced by Boomerang and issued in Antena 3 in 2012. Shortly after that, he began the shooting of which would be his second film: Open Windows, directed by Nacho Vigalondo and with the presence of actors of the size of Elijah Wood or Sasha Grey. This same year he participated in the videoclip of the catalan group Apollo Flytrap.

During practically all the 2013, he was one of the main characters in the Italo-Spanish production La dama velata, in which he stars as "Mateo".[2] To finals of this same year he joins to the production of The Beauty and the Beast, in the paper of "André" beside the actress Blanca Suárez.

In 2014, his career was directed mostly to the Spanish cinema, participating in 3 different productions: The first of all was Solo química, of the director Alfonso Albacete, giving life to "Hans", a homosexual guy, who is attracted to the character played by Alejo Sauras.[3] The second was Transvulcania, a film of José Skaf in which he has the paper of "Alex" beside Rubén Ochandiano. And finally, the film De chica en chica of the novel director Sonia Sebastian, interpreting "Fran", with known Spanish faces like Adrian Lastra or María Botto.

In 2015, he is vinculated to the casting of the television series Yo quisiera and is part of the cast of TVE series, Acacias 38.
