J'den Cox (pronounced JAY-dən, born March 3, 1995) is an American wrestler who specializes in freestyle wrestling and folkstyle wrestling.[1][2]

Cox graduated from David H. Hickman High School where he competed on the wrestling team.[3] Cox is a two-time NCAA National wrestling champion for the Missouri Tigers and a three time all-american.[4] With his first National Title in 2014 he became the first True Freshman in Missouri Tigers wrestling in history to win the title. After a disappointing 5th place finish in 2015 he came back strong and won the NCAA National wrestling title in 2016 as a junior. A few weeks later he won the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials where In the finals he defeated Kyle Dake.[5] To qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics he need to finish top 3 in his weight class for the 2016 World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament 1. He accomplished this feat by placing 1st in his weight class. At the Rio Olympics he won the bronze medal.
