Jānis Porziņģis (born 13 July 1982) is a former Latvian professional basketball player who played for fifteen different teams in multiple European leagues over a fourteen-year career. He also made a few appearances for the for Latvian national team. He retired in 2015 and became an agent for his younger brother, Kristaps Porziņģis, who is also a professional basketball player for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).[1]
