The spotted greenbul (Ixonotus guttatus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Ixonotus.^[2] It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda.^[1] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and moist savanna.^[3]
