Isca Hockey Club
Isca Hockey Club is a field hockey club that plays in Exeter. The club plays fixtures at various locations including the main campus of the University of Exeter, Blundell's School, Exeter School and King's School, Ottery St Mary.[1]
The club runs six men's, five women's, mixed, veterans and junior teams.[2] The men's first X1 play in the England Hockey League Men's Conference West and the women's first X1 play in the England Hockey League Investec Conference West.[3][4] A three-year sponsorship deal was secured in 2013 with Gilbert Stephens Solicitors.[5]
The name Isca originates from Isca Dumnoniorum and the club celebrated its centenary year in 2013 after being founded in 1913 and has secured major national honours during its history.
