Internet in Vietnam

Internet in Vietnam was official appeared in the end of 1997. Vietnam connected to global Internet in November 19, 1997. [1][2]

History

Rob Hurle, professor at Australian National University was considered as the first person who set up the internet development in Vietnam. He presented his idea for Vietnamese students who used to study in Australia. In 1991, Rob Hurle brought a big modem to Vienam for the experiment. [1]
