Indusstrias de Aceite (BBV: FIN) is a Bolivian multi-product company (formerly just oil producer). It's the biggest oil producer in Bolivia.

History

FINO oil industries was founded on {start date and age|February 15, 1944} in the city of Cochabamba.

In 1974 the oil extraction plant by pressing moves to Warnes (Santa Cruz), in order to bring production activity to the origin of the raw material.

Continuing with the momentum of technological growth in 1982 refining plant expands in Cochabamba and extraction plant installed by solvents Crown in Santa Cruz. The latter plant has a milling capacity of 400 tonnes / day. That same year it develops and launches a new product: Karina Manteca.

In 1986 the company introduced Margarine Regia in the Bolivian market.

In 1995, thinking in the bakery industry, Manteca Gordito develops. Its softness becomes its main feature, making teachers work much easier bakers.

In 1996 a new Tecnal extraction plant with production capacity of 800 tons / day is installed. • In 2006 milling capacity it expands, raising its production to 1,500 tons / day.

In 1999, thanks to the high technological level reached, export packaged to member countries of the CAN oils starts.The constant implementation of technology in the company allowed the portfolio also grow. In 1998 launches laundry soap OSO, and already in 2007 soaps under the brand name clothing UNO are released.

The steady growth of the industry undertakes to maintain plant the latest technology and tools, is why in 2010 the second phase of a mega silo in the town of Pailón is inaugurated, with a total storage capacity of 100,000 tons.
