India Casiraghi (born 12 April 2015)[1] is the second child of Andrea Casiraghi and his wife Tatiana Santo Domingo.[1] Casiraghi is the sixth in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne.[1]

Announcement and birth

The Prince's Palace of Monaco announced that Casiraghi was born in London. The statement issued by her paternal grandmother, Caroline, Princess of Hanover read: "Her Royal Highness the Princess of Hanover and Mrs Vera Santo Domingo are delighted to announce the birth of their granddaughter, born on 12 April 2015. Mother and baby are doing well."[1]

Family

Casiraghi is the daughter of Tatiana and Andrea Casiraghi.[1] Although she holds no hereditary title, as the second grandchild of Caroline, Princess of Hanover, Casiraghi is sixth in line to the Monegasque throne.[1]

Her maternal grandparents are Brazilian socialite Vera Santo Domingo and her late husband, Colombian billionaire Julio Mario Santo Domingo, Jr..[2]

Casiraghi has an older brother, Alexandre Casiraghi.[1]
