Incognito from St. Petersburg[1] (Russian: Инкогнито из Петербурга, translit. Inkognito iz Peterburga) - is a Soviet comedy film directed by Leonid Gaidai.[2]
Synopsis
In one of the small district towns of the Russian Empire the governors are waiting for the arrival of the capital auditor. Suddenly it is reported to the mayor Anton Antonovich Skvoznik-Dmuhanovskomu that a suspicious young man has settled in a local hotel who by all appearances is the most ominous auditor by the name of Ivan Khlestakov.
