IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted every year by ICFAI Business School in month of December for students seeking admission in IBS for MBA/PGPM courses. It is a qualifying test for attending selection process at ICFAI Business School and IBSAT score is not disclosed.[1] IBSAT score are accepted by ICFAI university and all the campuses of ICFAI Business School.

Eligibility

To appear in IBSAT applicant have to complete Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks (as calculated by respective University) with medium of instruction as English and minimum 15 years of regular education.[2]

Applicants in their final year bachelor's degree course are also eligible to apply. The admission will remain provisional until they produce marks sheets and degree certificates establishing their eligibility.[3]

IBSAT Pattern

Number of questions varies between 120 and 140 every year. Questions are distributed among 4 sections i.e. Verbal ability, Reading comprehension, Quantitative aptitude and Data adequacy and Data interpretation. IBSAT have multiple choice questions. There is no sectional cut-off and no sectional time limit in this exam and each question carry 1 mark.

Reading Comprehension

There are 2 passages with 8 questions each and two passage with 9 & 5 questions. The passages on an average contains between 500- 600 words. Some questions are direct and factual, some are inferential.
