"I've Got News for You" is pop vocalist Feargal Sharkey's first single from his last album, Songs from the Mardi Gras.[1]

Despite no music video being created the single peaked at #12 in the UK Singles Chart, remaining in that chart for nine weeks. The song was performed on UK television programme, Top of The Pops.

The B-side for the single "I Can't Begin to Stop" was exclusive to the single.[2]

The single was written by Feargal Sharkey and Dennis Morgan.

Both the 12" single and CD single contains Sharkey's 1985 hit "Loving You". The 12" single contains Sharkey's biggest hit "A Good Heart" and a remix of "You Little Thief". The CD single contains "After The Mardi Gras" which is the album opener on "Songs from the Mardi Gras" as well as "Cold Cold Streets" which was the album opener on Sharkey's 1988 album Wish.
