An acoustic version was released on the 2-track European single of "When You're Gone". The performance was recorded on January 31, 1995 at Cadena 40 Principales in Madrid, Spain. It is the first ever-recorded performance of this song, more than a year before it studio version release on To the Faithful Departed.

An acoustic version was also played during the band's MTV Unplugged show, but did not get a commercial release.
