The Huddersfield Daily Examiner is an English local daily evening newspaper covering Huddersfield and its surrounding areas. The first edition was published as a weekly, starting on 6 September 1851, as the Huddersfield & Holmfirth Examiner, and has been published as a daily since 28 January 1871.

The holding company, Examiner News & Information Services, also publishes a series of weekly newspapers distributed in the surrounding area, including the Colne Valley Chronicle, Holme Valley Express and Huddersfield and District Chronicle. It is of the Trinity Mirror group, which also owns the Daily Mirror and is the largest newspaper publisher in the United Kingdom.
