The product line includes the Huawei Honor Series of medium to high-end smartphones, tablets and smartwatches. The devices manufactured under Honor brand usually house the Android operating system produced by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google, customised with Emotion UI (EMUI).

The first flagship phone under Honor band was the Huawei Honor 6 which was released in 2014. it was succeeded by the release of Huawei Honor 7 in October 2015 and the Huawei Honor 8 in July 2016. The main reason for the creation of the Honor brand was to make it exclusive to online retailers.[1]
