The Holy Rosary Cathedral[1][2] also written more formally Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Chittagong is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is located in the city of Chittagong[3][4] the second largest in Bangladesh.[5][6] It is the seat of the Catholic Diocese of Chittagong (Latin: Dioecesis Chittagongensis; Bengali: চট্টগ্রাম এর বিশপের এলাকা) suffragan of the Archdiocese of Dacca, (ecclesiastical province of Dhaka) and the bishop responsible for the diocese is Moses Costa.

Follow the Roman or Latin rite and its history dates back to evangelization initiated by the Portuguese in the sixteenth century. The present Cathedral was built during the British government in 1843 and the last renovation was done in 1933.
