Holocryptis is a genus of moths of the Noctuidae family.

Description

Palpi slender and porrect. Antennae simple, with thickened basal joint. Thorax and abdomen scaled. Fore wings with somewhat lobed inner margin towards base. Vein 5 from above angle of cell, and veins 7,8 and 9 stalked. Hind wings with costa excised before apex. Veins 3 and 4 stalked, and veins 6 and 7 from upper angle of cell.[1]
