Holmes Institute

Holmes Institute and Holmes College is an Australian provider of higher education courses. It is privately owned with campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cairns and Hong Kong.[1]

Holmes Institute has been a private provider of university education for over 50 years at VET (Vocational Education and Training), Higher Education, Secondary School Education VCAL and an English Language Centre, delivering government accredited training course and programs at Diploma, Bachelor, Postgraduate and Secondary level in Australia and Asia.

The College is an Australian RTO delivering VET level courses in Diploma of Management, Diploma of Software Development & IT, Diploma of Digital Media Tech, Diploma of Hospitality and Diploma of Accounting. Colleges under the Holmes umbrella include HeadMasters, FashionMasters, MakeupMasters and BeautyMasters Pro Academies delivering the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion and Technology, Diploma of Applied Fashion and Technology, Diploma of Salon Management, Diploma of Specialist Make-up Services and the Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Business Courses including the Bachelor of Professional Accounting, Bachelor of Business Management, Bachelor of Business Marketing, Bachelor of Business International Business are delivered by Holmes and the Bachelor of Fashion and Business delivered by FashionMasters Pro Academy.

Postgraduate Programs delivered include the Graduate Diploma in Business allowing a guaranteed pathway into the Holmes Master of Business Administration MBA and the CPA accredited Master of Professional Accounting.

Holmes Institute also deliver accredited High School Preparation Programs, preparing young students for studies in Australian schools as well as Holmes Secondary College, including VCAL, IELTS and CELTA programs. And facilitate delivery of the Oxford House College English Programs for domestic and international students and the University of Cambridge CELTA Program for Teachers.

Holmes Institute was established in 1963 as a commercial college in Melbourne. It was previously known as 'Holmes College of Management' or simply 'Holmes College' with its International and Australian head office in Spring street, Melbourne.
