Hissam Ali Haider

Hissam Ali Hyder born March 7, 1982 in Lahore, is a Pakistani polo player with a 6-goal handicap. He is the highest ranked polo player in all of Asia.

Hissam, who everybody knows as "Namoo", learnt how to play polo from his father Irfan Ali Haider, who was a +4 goal player. Hissam quickly became a +6 handicapped player over the last several years and has represented Pakistan in a couple of World Cup tournaments.

He has the highest handicap of any Pakistani polo player of the last thirty years.

He has won many tournaments, some of the biggest being the 30th Annual Snow Polo in St. Moritz and the Coronation Cup in 2016 in which he represented Pakistan.

Hissam is also on the board of directors at Guards Polo Club and is a part of the HPA - handicapping committee in England.
