Hina Sultan

Hina Sultan is a Pakistani television host, VJ, and actress.[1]

Early life

Sultan was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.[2] Her family moved back to Lahore, Pakistan when she was very young. She studied computer science & mass communication at University of Central Punjab formerly PICS and Kinnaird College respectively.[3]

Career

Sultan started her career as a VJ/Host for a TV show Tune Ho Jao on APlus Entertainment.[2] then she hosted live music show "Call a tune" for aplus which used to come daily and "Enews" an entertainment mag show for aplus. She was also the host of Ramzan Premier league season 4 for Play TV in 2011.[2] In 2012 she hosted Moving Heads on Style 360.[2] she has also hosted a magazine show "Agent ollywood" on capital TV. she has also hosted live Saturday brunch show "Mailjol" for Aplus. Currently, she is hosting on "Har pakistani mein chhupa ek hero" for samaa TV, an inspirational show for all those who wanted to become something and now they are an inspiration in their respective fields.

Sultan is a part of a hit TV sitcom 'Timmy G' on ARY digital[4] and 'Albeli Sofia' on APlus Entertainment.[5] Sultan has also acted in sitcom 'Khel Tamasha' and drama soap 'Khalida ki walida' both on Ptv Home[6] on air. She has also worked in the famous drama series Kamaal-E-Zabt and Dhamak (Ghin)on A-Plus, in which everyone liked her performance and praised her.

Sultan was a lead model in Raheem Shah's song Kho Gaye Nain. In 2011 Hina appeared in a TV commercial for a Pakistani Telecom giant Ufone. She has hosted many events and red carpets for Style 360, City 42, APlus and ATV.

In 2012, Hina appeared a lead in a hit TV soap Bas Yunhi on TV station Urdu 1. Hina's character "sage" made her recognisable in Pakistan popular media.[7] After getting great response from "Bus Yunhi" she did drama soap Veeraniyan for aplus as sara, Ullu Braye Frokht Nahee for humtv and Ranjish He Sahi for Geo entertainment. Currently, she is getting great response from her onair drama soap Chhoti Chhoti Khushiyan for geo entertainment.

On 31 August 2014, Maz Bonafide's Jaan was released in which she appeared.
