Hermitage, California

Hermitage is a former settlement in Mendocino County, California.[1] It was located 6 miles (9.7 km) east-southeast of original site of Yorkville.[1]

Hermitage was first settled and named by S.W. Knowles in 1858.[1] A post office operated at Hermitage from 1860 to 1902, moving in 1901.[1]
